DESCRIPTION:Wool is a versatile fiber with endless diverse uses from clothing to industrial insulation.  The purpose of this competition is to celebrate the end product of wool in clothing. The Fairfield County Guys and Gals Sheep Lead Show is open to sheep lovers ages 3 through adults. Entry classes include individuals and pairs in traditional garments as well as a special costume class which can be individual or a pair.    \nEntrants may wear handmade or purchased outfits. SUMMARY:Jr. Fair Alpacas: Show and Building Update
DESCRIPTION:For comfort\, space\, and safety reasons\, the alpacas will be housed in a different location on the fairgrounds.  They will be housed in building 19 (see picture below) and will be shown in the center show arena in the round barn.  Building 19 is between the Junior Fair Display barn (building 16) and the north wing of the Round Barn. They will not be housed and shown in the Ed Sands/Farm Bureau building as listed in the 2025 fair program. \n \nThese adorable animals with amazing personality will be judged beginning at 1 pm.  Come and see why they are loved by so  many.
