NOTICE OF ELECTION
To Members of the Fairfield County Agricultural Society. The annual election will be held at the office of the Society, Fairgrounds, Lancaster, Ohio on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Six Directors to be elected for terms of office starting November 1, 2025 are as follows: One Director from Bloom Township to serve three years, One Director from Greenfield Township to serve three years, One Director from Lancaster City to serve three years, One Director from Liberty Township to serve three years, One Director from Rushcreek to serve three years and One Director from County-at-Large to serve three years.
Members of the Fairfield County Agricultural Society must declare their candidacy for office of Director by filing a petition with the Secretary or Fair Manager of the Fairfield County Agricultural Society. All candidates for members of the Board must be members of the Fairfield County Agricultural Society. All petitions must be filed at the office of the Society by 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025.

Proposed Amendment to the By-laws of the Fairfield County Agriculture Society–Provision Permitting the Sale of Alcohol on Fairgrounds under Specified Conditions
Section X: Limited Authorization for Alcohol Sales on Fairgrounds
- Purpose: This amendment is established to allow the regulated sale of alcoholic beverages on the premises of the Fairfield County fairgrounds strictly under the terms and conditions set forth herein.
- Scope of Authorization–The sale of alcoholic beverages on the fairgrounds is permitted solely during periods when the Lancaster Music Festival is held on the premises as part of an agreement for music entertainment purposes.
- No other events, activities, or periods shall permit the sale of alcohol unless specifically authorized by subsequent amendment to these by-laws.
Compliance with Laws:
All sales and distribution of alcoholic beverages must comply fully with all applicable state and local laws, rules, and regulations governing such activity.
All permits, licenses, and insurance required by law must be obtained by the Lancaster Music Festival prior to any sale of alcohol on the fairgrounds.
Duration and Review:
This authorization is effective only for the duration of the Lancaster Music Festival agreement and may be reviewed, modified, or revoked by a majority vote of the Fairfield County Agriculture Society’s Board of Directors at any time.
This amendment is to be incorporated into the existing by-laws of the Fairfield County Agriculture Society and shall take effect immediately upon passage at the annual election in October 2025.
