Cancelled due to weather: Low Sensory Event Sponsored by Kissel Amusements

This is an opportunity for those who have sensitivity to loud noises and lights to enjoy select rides on the Midway.

Who’s Invited:  Individuals with a developmental disability who are sensitive to flashing lights and loud noise.

Details: Kissel Entertainment will open 5 to 7 rides that are moderate to low intensity. Lights and music will be turned off to further reduce intensity. Participants will be asked to wear a special wristband so operators know who will be participating.

Arrival and wristband details:  Vehicles transporting participants should enter at the Broad Street Gate (corner of Broad and Fair) between 9:00 and 9:30 am. After purchasing your admission tickets, please pull forward to the Maintenance Building next to the trailer where Boy Scouts will be selling ice  (See diagram below).That’s where you will get your ride wristband from Drew Kissel or Fair Board Director, Zach Drake.  Note: Be sure to get your Low Sensory wristband to be eligible for this event.
